so i have 2 collections already from like 2 years ago
and now decided to make another collection, but this time its not letting me add tag to any movie (untagged movies)
i tried with the lock on or off, restarted plex server, its still not letting me add any tag to movies
theres no errors or messages, just doesnt save …
You are clicking Add <collectiontag>... before hitting save yes? Does it work if you use https://app.plex.tv instead of the local one?
When using the hosted version (https://app.plex.tv/destkop), you can now also add items to a collection directly from the context menu → ... > Add to > Add to Collection... (this requires Plex Web 4.56+ or Plex for Mac/Windows 1.31+):
If your local web app is at 4.53.x then you may need to update server as well.
that was the problem - i had to click on Add XXX at the drop down … makes no sense but yea, thanks !
