recently I’ve found that i can no logger remove or add a movie to a collection. i can enter a collection tag and save it, butbwhen i go back and check, the change has vanished.
i looked at the settings for the agent and for some reason it was enabled for collection tagging from the movie database in deselected that in both places but i still can not change collection tags
anybody got any ideas?
This is an issue with the bundled web app 2.10.5
For now, until an updated server version is released, use the ‘hosted’ version of the web app at https://app.plex.tv/web/app
There is a bug in the Web App version 2.10.5 that has been fixed in Web App 2.10.7. Unfortunately, there is no way to get the newest Web App on your PMS machine. So to edit those tags, (collections, sharing, etc.) you have to use the https://app.plex.tv/web/app# to get to an updated version.
It used to be we could delete the offending bundle and restart Plex Media Server and the newest bundle would download automatically. But for some reason a number of updates back, the Team made this no longer an option. For now you have to use the link provided, and wait until the next release of PMS to come out and the new Web App installed with it.
I had quite a number of collections and sharing things I needed to update in the past few days, so I went through this as well.

Thanks, this was driving me mad thinking it was something i had done!
Now if I can just get it working locally instead of the internet traffic using the link I provided you, I might actually be happy about some recent Plex changes.
