I recently had to turn off the power in my apartment and didn’t turn off my TV/computer/etc when doing so, but when I turned power back on Plex wouldn’t connect to the server where my media files are… I re-downloaded the Plex Media App and it may have duplicated itself… (???)
On the LOCAL version of Plex, it sees everything and works fine, but on the WEB app (the app.plex.tv) and my Samsung Smart TV it cannot connect to my media files (this is on WIFI via my laptop) saying it “cannot connect securely”. I’ve looked up every solution I can find and it’s STILL not working… Not sure what to do at this point… I also cannot set “connect securely” to “disabled”… I only have “preferred” and “required”.
This is on Windows, BTW
