Plex app on TV can't connect to laptop server

Hi,
I’ve recently downloaded plex media server onto my windows PC and am attempting to play a film through the plex app on my samsung smart TV.

Both devices are connected to the same network however the TV app tells me it cannot connect to the server.

I’ve managed to connect the app on my smartphone to the server and have streamed a film (again on the same network) but for some reason cannot achieve the same through my TV.

Any help would be much appreciated.

I’ve selected the option to revert to the public version of the app and am now getting a connection error message:
‘Insecure connections are preferred and the selected server cannot be reached insecurely with your current settings… then instructions to change.’ However I already have allow fallback to insecure set to ‘always’
