Can't activate plex app

I have an Android device (Android 7.1.2) with Plex installed. I have activated the Plex app in Android, this works well on my other Android devices and even used to work on this one.

However, when I click on “Activate Plex” (1-Activate Plex.jpg), the following happens:

  • I see the screen where I can choose “Upgrade now” or “Buy now”. (2-Plex Pass buy now.jpg)

  • This screen is only active for a second or two, not enougd time to scroll or click.
  • Immedeately, a screen pops up with info about the Plex pass, no options to activate. (3-Plex Pass.jpg)

What can I do about this?

For clarity, I am logged in to the Play store with the same account as the one with which I activated the app.

What version of play store and play services is on that device? It is a projector running the mobile app or your phone connected to a projector? What happens if you change the app layout to TV

Play Services: 21.45.16

I then tried to update the Play Store, but that doesn’t seem to work. It downloads the update, but doesn’t install. That could be the problem…

It’s a projector with an Orange Pi running Android 7.1.2.

Changing the layout to TV doesn’t solve the issue.
