Can't add new users to plex despite having plex pass

I’ve been unable to share my account with more users. I have a plex pass and in the past, was able to add 84 users plus my 15 home users. i recently removed all my users and now I can only add 21 plus my 15. Does anyone know what could be the problem?

Are you adding them by email address or by Plex user name. It seems to matter. Check out this forum thread.

I’ve tried adding both by email and username. Neither is working.

Then I would suggest posting your server logs so people smarter than me can figure out what might be happing.

Probably want to stop Plex, restart Plex then try adding a user and collect the Plex logs then. Should be less to hunt through.

I was able to figure out the problem. I had 4 stale servers from a failed server reboot. Also didn’t help that I renamed those servers the same name which further confused everything. Once I rebooted the server with a fresh server name, I was able to readd the users one at a time with no problem.
