I was wondering what I am doing wrong, my remote Plex servers’ secure connection was corrupted somehow, and I cannot add it back. I pay monthly for an account on plex.tv. Before I would go to Account → Network to add a server but I can not find an option on plex. Thanks!
Only a few apps support editing a manual list of servers. In most cases, this isn’t needed as Plex Media Servers linked to your account will report their contact data to Plex so clients linked to the same account can find it.
That being said – if the connection as such is refused, manually configuring the same IP won’t usually fix this. So fixing that “corruption” is imperative to fix your connection problem.
