Can't add server/library after resetting password

Hi there,
After resetting my password (been logged out all my plex-apps) I ran into authorization issues when accessing my remote Library.
I ended up reinstalling my plexmediaserver and upgrading it, logging in again, and even deleting my server from my account cause I was told “you can’t access this server”, either when not deleted or when I would go to the URL MY_IP:32400/web once it was deleted.

I ended up reading this super helpful post to get my access rights back: Server credential reset utility for Linux-based platforms

which solved the authorization issue.

Nonetheless it appears that I can’t add new libraries as when I click on “+media” on my left panel (ssh tunnel and all that), it just invites me to download plexmedia server (see attached, it’s in French, but hopefully you get the idea)

.
Is there something I’m missing here?

Any tips are more than welcome!
Thanks a lot,

Server Version#: debian 7
Player Version#: plexmediaserver 1.28

@colbs7

I think I made a very slight error (typo) in the utility.

Please check the permissions for “Preferences.xml”
If they aren’t right, set them to match the files around it.

Should be plex:plex and 644

Hey, thanks for helping!
Unfortunately the file was already set like that.

Make a tar.gz / zip file of the Logs and attach here please.

There it is, I just packed the whole thing, I hope it’s okay.

Thanks, read it, sent you PM
