Can't claim server with account that has Plex Pass

hello

i m using PLEX since it s launch with a life time pass and all worked fine since the last update((no more libraries )

trying to fix it now over a few weeks new install etc etc no result

created a new account and OH WONDER all works fine…

no subscription

I’m not sure what you mean by “booting” but need server logs after whatever the issue is happens to try to help. If you coudl sign in but your libraries disappears then it is/was i’m guessing the database was maybe corrupted.

what does this mean exactly? do you have server logs from this install?

Those are web app logs, not server logs.

((no more libraries ) means that in my old account logging into plexserver there is no LIBRARY NO manage library etc

in my new account an the same PC all is there

Which could be result of a million things. often just means the server is not claimed or there is/was some network issue. If you claimed it with another account then you need to claim with with the one you want instead. this is different than signing into the web app

i just want my OLD account to work again

You need to claim your server with it. the account you are using on this forum only shows an old server named HHO Studio that hasn’t been seen in 7 months.

Your other account show a server named. HHO-Main created today.

these appear to be totally different computers though.

You mentioned you reinstalled to so not sure which you reinstalled or if the old server is still there.

To unclaim the sever you need to go to General Settings an sign out of your NON-PP account and then sign out of web app from that IP . then sign into it and claim with your PP account.

yup there seems to be a mismatching with 2 servers on the same PC…

I don’t understand why you won’t sign out ( unclaim) the server from your other account like I said. You don’t need to delete it to do this. Your going to just make things difficult to solve

ok…unclaimed server HHO main and logged out new account

old account now says Initialising Plex Media Server

OK I now see the HHO-Main on your old account on our end. ( though remote access is not enabled)

remote rarely worked and i didn t need it as all my devices are on the same network

If you open up a new browser window and just go to https://app.plex.tv does it show the same thing?

does the HHO-Studio server not exist anymore?
