Hello Group,
I have been stuck for weeks on this issue. I have plex server running on a mac, which i just moved to a mac studio that i had. Installed a new plex media server but migrated the server folder from the old mac however It will stop almost always at somewhere in the middle of a tv episode or movie and then just go to the next episode or stop the movie. No error just stops. And it doesn’t register that i watched any part of the episode i was on so if i select it again i have to start over. Its like its not seeing that its being played.
After my move to the new machine i now also sometimes get the error “Plex transcoder failed due to an error” or “your connection to the server is not fast enough to play”. I am on gigabit internet and all hardwired fyi. But i see nothing wrong with the server. It is obviously strong enough to transcode a ton. I am on the latest version of plex server 4.121.1 which should be the one designed for universal arm.
I downloaded all the logs but i am not sure which one i am supposed to post for help but i uploaded the zip file. Any help would be amazing, i can’t think of anything else to do… (just for reference i went from a 2018 mac mini intel to this m2 mac studio so it was happening on both chipsets).
