For those that didn’t see my post yesterday, my server seems to stop streaming files about once a day, until I restart it. Everything had been working great until a week or two ago. The files are the same as most of my media MKV, H.264, EAC3 - I’ve included all the details of the file attempted to play today below.
Server is a Linux box, Ubuntu 18.04 LTS, Xeon E5-1620, 64 GB of memory, I have nearly 400GB free on the partition where Plex runs, and the temp directory for transcoding is. And memory is over half free.
Media storage is on a Synology that has a dedicated 1gb connection to the plex server.
Client is a AppleTV 4k (not the latest one) running the Plex App.
For giggles I attempted to play the file from the web after composing all this information and it started playing. I then stopped my playback on the AppleTV which had given up after stalling, and the file played fine… I’m lost

— After looking at the logs, a friend suggested I turn off HW Transcoding, and I tried that, since I don’t believe my server supports (Xeon doesn’t do intel quick sync video, and my graphics card in that machine is a Quadro K4200. – but it came back.

One thing I did try this time, was if the Web player worked, and it seemed to start the video, and after it started there, it would start on the AppleTV… This is weird.
