Can't connect to server with xbox on static IP

Server Version#: 1.23.4.4805
Player Version#:2.76.1.70

So I just recently got my ISP to give me a static public IP address for my xbox to get open NAT status. The probloem is now I can’t connect to my plex server anymore. I can connect remotely, but the quality is horrible. If I disconnect from the public static IP it works fine again. Is there a way to connect locally with my xbox on a public static IP?

I’m not actually sure why you’ll need a public static IP address for your Xbox?!
If you’re in a CGNAT situation where your ISP is providing your router only with a “private network” IP address, you might want one for your router.

Generally, PMS will only automatically discover devices that are on the same subnet. If you have assigned a dedicated public IP address to your Xbox, that might block the device/server from seeing each other. If you depend on that IP configuration for some reason beyond Plex, you could try to specify the PMS IP address in the Xbox Plex client (Settings > Manual Servers).

I live in Indonesia where the ISP’s are pretty strict and on my xbox I was getting a double nat and strict nat settings on the xbox so the ISP gave me a public static IP and that fixed that issue giving it an open nat status, but they only gave me the static IP for that one device so the plex server is connected to the same router, but has a private ip address.

I’ve tried putting the ip address of the Mac Mini that the server is running on under manual connection, but I don’t know what to put for the port. I haven’t had any luck with the connection there.

I read that with the Plex Pass you can assign other IP address and netmask to work as a local connection so I paid for that and put the ip addres and netmask for the xbox separated by a comma under the “LAN Networks” area, but still no luck connecting.

The only way I can connect is remotely with “Enable Relay” checked on the PMS. Which is why I’m guessing the quality is so bad as it says the relay option is bandwidth limited.
