I upgraded to Plex Pass last week. One of the reasons I did so was to create a Premium Music Library. Unfortunately in the Options pane the server will not allow me to check the Premium option. Why won’t it let me do this?
Since having upgraded to Plex Pass, have you signed your server out and back into your account?
Doing so updates the server’s enabled features list.
I haven’t turned my computer off, but yes, I hit “Exit” on the Plex icon in the system tray so I figure that’s signing your server off. Signed back on, still no joy; the server will not allow me to check off the Premium option. Sorry it’s not a simple fix!
Never mind! I solved this problem by first clicking on the Basic option (thereby turning it off) and then I was able to activate the Premium option. A little clunky but it worked. I appreciate your fast response and I really enjoy Plex - otherwise I would not have signed up for Plex Pass!
