In the new web interface, it won’t let me delete a user, despite the fact that I need to. Is there any way I can do this?
It’s still there for me. How are you going about it?
In Settings, go to Users & Sharing, and hover over the user you want to remove. The ‘X’ control should appear. Is that not happening for you?
I am trying to remove a home user. I can click the X but all it does is edit. It won’t give me the option to delete the user entirely
You can’t edit a Home user. Can you provide screenshots?
Edit - Sorry. If you are seeing the screen to change their sharing rules, then you aren’t clicking on the X. It should turn red when you hover over it so make sure it’s red before clicking.
I keep doing that but it wont let me delete
I have been pressing the X. All it does is take me to the edit. It doesn’t allow me to delete the user
PM me the username or email address and I’ll see if there is a problem on our end.
I am having the same issue on the latest version. Is this a bug?
For the record, I’m a systems admin, I am definitely clicking it. Hovering over it, it does not turn red.
I will assume this is a bug. I have tested another server running an older version and deleting a user works just fine.
This is for sure a bug. I even created a test user with no libraries shared just to see if it would do the same thing and it did. I also tried both the local server address and the Plex.tv address. Both are doing it.
