I have a problem where I can only select 116 of my 187 channels. It’s doesn’t seem to matter which 116 channels I select as any combination seems to work. As soon as I try to add one more channel I get the error “There was a problem saving your DVR. Please try again”.
As is always the way, I spent hours trying to make this work and the second I post the question I figure out what the issue was!
Basically the request was never even reaching the plex server as the Nginx proxy I’m using to handle SSL was rejecting the request due to the Url being too long. Seems like plex is making the request in the address line and not in the body.
I switched to accessing the server by local ip to get direct access and it worked straight away.
