The XBO does not currently support music.
It's not currently supported, there is an update that is going through the certification process that will enable music features. But I have no idea if it will support all of the features that were announced today.
So all we can do is wait....

Any idea how long this Xbox Certification process will take.....in other words, will we be able to watch the music stuff within a couple of weeks on our xbox one?
Dang, was secretly hoping this was the answer to my lack of Spotify/Music Library woes on my XB1. Is this likely something Microsoft will refuse to certify as it'd encroach on their Xbox Music service I wonder?

No, they would have vetoed the whole Plex app in that case since it encroaches on their Xbox Video. If it is not certified it will be due to a bug that was missed in testing most likely.
Just so you know. If you have Onedrive you can upload music to that and it will Play in Xbox Music as well (on WP and Xbox One at least that I've tried, Windows 8 doesn't seem to work). Just an idea for the mean time, it does mean you have to upload to Onedrive though.
Thanks, I've already spent an inordinate amount of time uploading to iTunes Match. I don't fancy doing it all over again for OneDrive. Fingers crossed the music function will appear on XB1 soon.
