I cannot get Plex Media Server libraries to show up on the Xbox One Plex app. All other devices on my network show the libraries except Xbox One. Plex Media Server is logged onto plex.tv, and is externally accessible (green arrow on). The Xbox One "Media Player" app will show & play the content properly; just not the Plex app, it is version 1.0.0.13 and the server is 0.9.12.3. Server is loaded onto Win8.1, current updates. Could this be an Xbox One "Insider Preview (beta version)" issue? I Have removed, restarted, reinstalled. I'm stuck, please help.
Possibly a dumb question - but what are your libraries? If they're photos or music, we won't show them in XB1 app, yet. The released app only supports TV and Movies.
Excellent question! I have only attempted a music library, so you have solved my issue very quickly. Why has Plex not stated this to avoid people from wasting several hours of time??? When can we expect to see an updated version to support Music Libraries?
