I tried to update my PMS to 16.9.3 on ubuntu by downloading the .deb file and running dpkg -i. I have done this in the past with no issues, and it ran to completion no problem. I restarted my computer and I can’t connect to the server locally at all or from any external clients.
I can confirm it is running, as I restarted the service a couple times and it states “plexmediaserver is running under XXX PID”
In desperation I figured I would backup my settings and do a cleaninstall. Ran:
“dpkg -r plexmediaserver”
and removed the contents at"/var/lib/plexmediaserver"
After downloading the latest deb again and running dpkg-i and watching the install complete. I still get nothing in the browser when the service is running.
Not sure how to proceed here. Anyone have any ideas?
