I’m unable to install the plex client on my new Chromecast with Google TV. When I search for the app, there is just no install button – indicating that plex is not supported on this platform?
I suspect it may be because I am opted into the plex client beta in the play store, is that possibly the case?

I can confirm I am getting the same issue on mine as well. I was able to install it fine from the play store web interface, and selecting the Chromecast with Google TV as the device to install to

I had Plex on my Google TV and installed directly - just had to link it.
My issue is when I tried to search for a movie I know I have in Plex, it didn’t give me the option to play from Plex. And I don’t think any of my Plex content show up in the Google TV interface. Anyone have this issue?
Unfortunately that is expected and not going to be (easily) possible, has to do with how Google Indexes providers.

There is nothing really stopping a dev from making a 3rd party launcher with similar functionality that works with Plex though.
