Continuing the discussion from Want to help translate/localize the Plex client apps?:
So, I thought I would help out with some translation suggestions for Plex and signed up on Transifex but shortly ran into some trouble.
According to Plex localization there are several ongoing projects.
First problem:
So, I click on “Plex for Smart TVs and Consoles” in the list and check if Swedish (my language) is in the project, and it is (it says it has 581 strings to translate)! But when I click on the button to “Join team”, Swedish is suddenly not listed in the “Available languages” when I am to “Select an Option”. And if/when I try to request it as a language it says it’s added!
Second problem:
I then tried to join the project for “Plex Media Server” and that worked as intended (I think). I translated some 50-60+ strings that was listed under “Untranslated”. But since I did join for a reason, and the reason being that I have found text wrongly translated or untranslated, I tried to find a certain string that needs translating. In this case it’s the word/string “Cast”, which is the title shown above the actors for the movie or show you are looking at the information about. In Swedish you do not say “Cast”, you probably say “Rollista” or perhaps “Medverkande”. However the string “Cast” is nowhere to be found?! The closes result showing up when I was searching for it was “podcast”. So how/where can “Cast” be correctly translated?
