Sorry it doesn’t seem like I can Post a Topic and I see that you were a Employee so I thought I would ask you.
When I try to link my android plex app it gives me a link number that i put into a separate browser at “https://www.plex.tv/link” I get “Code not found or expired”.
It was running fine yesterday. Today I uninstalled it because it kept crashing and reinstalled it. Now this.
been trying to reproduce but I can’t. Does it work if you try to enter on a different device than what you are using now?. like try on your smart phone while on cellular.
The Plex app is running on an android set top box on my TV and was working fine yesterday. I have tried to link it on my phone and my PC. All my other plex apps are connecting fine with my server. The server has been updated to the most recent version and is showing up fine in my PC device settings.
I understand that. I am saying while the code is up on the Android TVs screen. If you open the web browser on you smart phone and go to https://www.plex.tv/link while your phone is on cellular and enter the code from the screen does it let you sign in
I am having the same problem on Android. I installed it yesterday on Nebula using Aptoide. Then I upgraded and could use Google play store so it updated Plex and asked me to link again. Now when I try to link it says code not found or expired. Tried uninstalling, different devices, on cellular vs WiFi etc. nothing works. How can this be fixed? All other devices with Plex seem to be working fine.
Thanks everyone for the suggestions. I just did a factory reset on my android set top box and reinstalled PLEX now everything is working fine. Thanks again
I think I found the problem! When i install the program it asks me to switch from Mobile mode to TV mode and all I then get only the 4 digit code , if I stay in Mobile mode it allows me to enter my PLEX account details and then everything seems to work fine!
