I have a Nvidia Shield and I external hard drive connected to my Nvidia Shield to download my movies well now my server the Android box the Nvidia Shield is not showing up any more can someone help? I still have the external hard drive hooked up to Shield
Is not showing up where? When you go to the Android TV player apps settings does it say it it running?

Sorry, I don’t know what that means. The Plex Media Server that is on the Shield is enabled by opening up the Plex Android TV player app, going to its settings and turning on the server. Does that settings say the server is running?

I’m having this same issue. My Shield tells me that the server is available but when I attempt to access it on my desktop it first says that there is an insecure server and then “The server “SHIELD Android TV” is unavailable”. Please help me, I’ve tried updating plex and uninstalling the update several times and I’ve done a few factory resets on my shield but nothing works.
