Can't log into Plex Forums using Safari

Don’t know where this belongs but it appears to be an issue with “https://app.plex.tv/auth/” while on Safari. I am able to log in using Chrome.

When trying to log into these forums Safari gets as far as the the Plex logo in the center of the screen and it stops there. I assumed the cache was corrupted so I removed it and all Cookies, and restarted Safari - that did not help. I then restarted my iMac - still no luck.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

something blocking cookies or javascript maybe?

The website cookie is saved. The site is allowed. I removed the cookie and it was refreshed/recreated. Still nothing. Javascript is running.

Looking in the safari logs for errors, warnings shows nothing.

Question: Why is it that it’s using “https://app.plex.tv/auth/” to connect to the forums? Aren’t the forums a separate credential?

When connecting to “https://app.plex.tv/auth/” no log in sheet appears. I am able to log in to plex.tv if I remove the /auth at the end of the address. But then once I revisit the forums my logged in status is ignored.

EDIT:

Somehow, clicking back and forth and holding the command key down while clicking on the “log in” icon forced the page to save the forum credentials in the plex.tv Safari cookie.

The forums use an SSO token for auth. it does not store any credentials, but it needs to get the token from the the main site.

This screenshot shows what was in the cookie before it worked (unhighlighted).

The highlighted items were not in the cookie until after I command clicked on the log in link (after logging in and out of plex.tv)
