When I try to playback my DVR recording from my premium channels with Plex App on Shield, FireTV, and Samsung Tablet, it has no sound and fast forwards. I have no problem with it on my Plex Web Desktop. Please Help!
Audio from the Premium TV channels is no longer compatible with Plex on Android platforms (the format was changed by the upstream provider). Plex has stated it’s a problem with the upstream provider which indicates to me they are not interested in fixing it on their end.
Please don’t quote me as “Plex has stated …” something. I don’t work for Plex. That comment you quoted was from early on in the discussion of this topic and is still true. The upstream provider changed something which created a technical issue. Never did I say “Plex” wasn’t going to fix it.
Your attitude on these forums is always quite adversarial.
My apologies for misattributing you as “Plex”, you’re right, that was not accurate.
