Can't (re)link Tidal to Plex

I went ahead and changed my Tidal trial period (which would end in 2 days - signed up directly through Tidal) to a subscription through Plex (Lifetime Plex Pass). Subscribing went well and I can still use all native Tidal apps with my existing account, but now I can’t re-link my Tidal account to Plex again. I’m stuck in this loop of trying to link it, logging into Tidal, going to Tidal in Plex, being told that my accounts are not linked, etc…

I’ve seen posts by other people who were able to solve the same problem by simply rebooting Plex, but that doesn’t solve it for me. What can I do?

I have the same problem. I am always redirected to plex.tv after tidal authentication. I restarted the server several times, deleted caches, tried different browsers. Unfortunately without success.

I am having the same issue.

Looks like there may be a solution: make sure the email address you use in Tidal is the same one you use for Plex.

Changing the address did the trick for me. I now have my “old” Tidal email that I still use as the username (in the Tidal apps), but in my account setting I changed the email address to the one I use in Plex and tadaaa… it worked.

Edit: meanwhile Plex has issued a fix :wink:

I have a similar issue , after deleting my server and reinstalling with a MY HOME CLOUD. Even with the other server gone, everything, uninstalled, reinstalled, etc. .the app no longer allows me to integrate Tidal into Plex library or playlists
