This is a weird one. I have three separate Movies libraries configured on the same WD NAS I am using to run Plex Media Server, and am using a HD HomeRun FLEX 4K. All is operating perfectly.
I am trying to record “The Grapes of Wrath” (1940) from OTA on the local affiliate of MOVIES!. When I try to set the DVR to record in the future, and attempt to select the library where I want it, PMS (IMO correctly) displays my 3 Movie libraries, meaning it has identified the program as “Movie” and not “TV Show”.
However, it will only allow me to set the recording request in (let’s call them) my “Movie Two” and “Movie Three” libraries - NOT my “main” “Movies” library.
As far as I can tell, the settings in Plex and on my NAS are exactly identical for all three Movie libraries.
It’s not a huge deal; I can simply make the recording of the movie and then move the file over to where I want it to be accessible. But this strikes me as odd, and I haven’t been able to find a good reason for this in the Forums. Any ideas from my fellow Plexipolitans? Thanks in advance!
