Server Version#: 1.32.0.6918
Player Version#: 1.67.1.3665
I’ve discovered in this version (and maybe a previous one, not sure) that Plex Server in my dock does not have the capability to right click and shut down the server as did previous versions. Is there another way other than Activity Monitor to shut down the server? If not, may I request that the previous option be re-instated.
Bump… no one?
I’m not aware of any Plex icons in the dock.
The entry in the menu bar is showing the Quit command for me as usual.
I’ve always had two Plex icons in my macOS dock (Running the latest Ventura at the moment)
The left hand Plex icon is for the player and the right hand one is for the server. I unchecked the option of a menubar icon as unnecessary. The server dock always had a right-click menu where I would shut it down when I manually upgraded the executable. I may have an old server executable around I’ll try and install tomorrow to get a screen shot.
I went to install an older version of Plex to show you the “Quit” option, which worked, but when I re-installed the current version IT ALSO HAD A QUIT option.

I dunno why it was missing or why it came back, but I’m all set now.
