I have a free plex account but my friend who has a plex pass added me to their server, according to everything I’ve read on the pass features their active plex pass should allow me to stream from their server but I keep getting prompted to pay for a remote watch pass. Have they removed the ability to stream for free from someone with a plex pass? If so, then they haven’t updated the ‘plan benefits’ page yet to reflect it.
Your friend doesn’t have a Plex Pass, they have a Remote Watch Pass which is only gives remote access to them, not others.
