Hi Guys, I recently got the streaming pass and it was working for my friends again to stream my content. But unfortunately now it has stopped saying they need a remote watch pass. Have any of you guys encountered the same issue or have a fix?

If you have a Remote Watch Pass, then you can stream remotely from your server or any server shared with you.

If you have a Plex Pass, then you can stream remotely from your server or any server shared with you. Additionally, anyone you share with can stream remotely from your server (they do not need a Remote Watch or Plex Pass).

If you have neither pass, then others you share with must have their own Remote Watch Pass or Plex Pass to stream remotely from your server.

Neither Plexamp (music) nor Plex Photos requires a Remote Watch Pass or Plex Pass to stream remotely.

I’m having the same problem. I upgraded to a lifetime Plex Pass a few years ago, but my sister said she hasn’t had access to my server since the change went through requiring one user or the other to have a pass of some type. My understanding was that my pass would allow her to access any of my shared libraries without restriction.
I tested this recently with a dummy account for a smart TV at work. I shared the libraries, but nothing showed up when you logged into the app. Once I added them as a home user the libraries showed up,
