I have a user’s session stuck in my dashboard, even disabling remote access, all “don’t require auth” networks, restarting the server etc, do not terminate this user’s session. The user is not active and is not using plex on any device, and even if they were, I have disabled all external network access and yet this session still continues to show on the dashboard as playing although no actual progress is made through the item, it remains as halfway through the programme.
There used to be controls that permitted me to terminate a user’s session but these do not appear to be available any more, I have tried using Chrome and Firefox but the option to terminate the user’s session does not appear when hovering over the item in the dashboard. Clicking on the item does not permit removal.
I see this repeatedly in the log:
Mar 24, 2021 12:15:49.112 [0x7f7dcbfff700] DEBUG - [Now] User is xxxxx (ID: zzzzz)
Mar 24, 2021 12:15:49.112 [0x7f7dcbfff700] DEBUG - [Now] Device is Android (AFTT).
Mar 24, 2021 12:15:49.112 [0x7f7dcbfff700] DEBUG - [Now] Profile is Android
Mar 24, 2021 12:15:49.112 [0x7f7dcbfff700] DEBUG - [Now] Updated play state for /library/metadata/268409.
This is getting in my way while I try to fix other problems with Sonos playback.
