Your failures have nothing to do with the update. This would have happened at next PMS restart regardless. The root cause were all the photos added

You have more media to monitor than DSM/Linux allows in its default configuration. (8192 folders).
If you previously added the customization to allow this, and received a DSM update, then you’ll need to apply the customization again. DSM resets most customizations when it updates.
If you go here,
and follow the steps, you will again have enough space in the “Notify” table .
The reason this is necessary is because the Plex Transcoder needs two slots.
All the media being monitored filled the table.
