No response from Syno forum but I solved it this way:
Using WinSCP I transferred .spk update file to a shared folder (/volume1/whatever_folder)
Connect to the device using Putty
ssh user@NAS-IP
navigate to the folder you copied the .spk file
Install it as root using sudo. It’ll ask for your psw
sudo synopkg install name_of_the_plex_file.spk
[password]
Remove the installer .spk file
rm *.spk
Hi, another method I found is to not use Edge browser. I don’t have that problem when I use Chrome.
