I had sort like problem but then is was bcause i had a HEVC/H.265 file but that not in this case.
What could be the problem?

Kind regards
Tom

That’s kinda exotic for an AVC/H.264 stream, but I think the Plex App on Windows should still be able to play it.

What happens when you attempt to play the file?

Just to verify, have you set the Quality settings in the Plex App to Maximum and Use recommended settings?

You might gather server logs after playing (or attempting to play) the file. That will give more information about why playback is - failing? Transcoding?

A quick fix might be to Optimize... the file in Plex. Choose Original Quality. When that completes, you can use Play Version... to play the optimized file.

Please clarify. What exactly does this mean?
