I listen to a lot of audiobooks and I was so disappointed with my plexpass until I came across plexamp. It’s so much better.
I do have a few suggestions, mostly regarding Car View:
1. Include the quick skip buttons
I’d still like to skip around in car view, and I would argue for audiobooks, these will get vastly more use than the Next/Previous track buttons.
2. Allow the artwork to be smaller.
For most audiobooks I listen to, I rarely care about the art. I need just a small thumbnail to identify the track. This space for me would be better devoted to larger buttons.
3. Show the track position
Even in Car View, I’d like to know how much time remains in a track. Just showing the progression in the waveform only tells me a rough percent, but absolute time matters. Will I have enough time to finish a track before my I arrive (if I’m driving)?
4. multiple skip lengths.
this is a feature request borrowed from another player. it would be nice to have 2 multiple skip lengths, e.g. +/- 1 min and +/- 15 sec. This would require 4 buttons of course.
But overall PlexAmp is much better than the Plex player, and I was about to give up on Plex if I hadn’t come across it.
