Cast/Actors for TV Show Episodes

The info is in the XML, but Plex does not show actors for episode view, only main actors in the series view. No love for guest appearances in different episodes?

At least they’re not showing in Plex Web, the desktop clients Plex for Mac/Windows (given their UI is based on Plex Web) or Plex Media Player / Plex HTPC. Episode cast seems to be showing fine on Plex for iOS, tvOS – I don’t have an Android device or other Big Screen apps at hand… taken those are usually in line I suppose those should display episode cast / guest appearances ok too.

@tom80H You are correct it is working on iOS. Wish it were consistent.

I to really wish it was uniform across devices.

  1. WebUI via browser has no cast when viewing episodes.
  2. Roku shows regular cast when viewing episodes.
  3. Android TV shows guest cast when viewing episodes.

Its almost like they are trying to keep it different to see what is more popular with users :thinking:
