Situation:
I want to cast my movie audio from my PC to a Google Home speaker and continue watching the video portion on my Windows/Chrome player. (I am using a Google Home as my PC speakers - odd, I know, but ces’t la vie.
I know that this is possible because I do it all the time with YouTube and other sites.
Issue:
When I cast from the player it stops video playback and sends audio to the speaker.
When I cast from the browser tab it does the same thing (seems that the player functionality takes priority since the cast icon lights up orange).
Is this a bug?
Does Plex simply not recognize the endpoint as an audio-only endpoint?
Or is there something I can do to make this work?
