Cast music to dietpi raspberryPi streamer

I’ve been casting my lossless music to a Chromecast audio. I’m going to “upgrade” away from that over to a raspberryPi based streamer. The streamer does have spotifyd (Spotify Connect) but there doesn’t seem to be any similar software for Plex: to stream Plex audio to a raspberrypi based streamer. Any ideas? thanks

Here is the guide to installing headless PlexAmp on a Raspberry pi: PlexAmp-installer for Raspberry Pi with armv7l HW It incorporates the setup for the Hifiberry or a clone. For the allo digione: Add the config. to /boot/config.txt dtoverlay=allo-digione You may also want to comment out the dtparam=audio=on line in the config.txt to disable the “internal soundcard” of the Raspberry. #dtparam=audio=on Hope it helps!

@odinb1 awesome script up there. I’m curious: does running the bash script wipe the SD card and the copy of DietPi that’s already on there? If so, will other streaming end points stop working? (spotifyd)

No, it does not! It does however modify the existing system, so depending on what you have, it might or might not work!
