I used the cast list all the time while watching shows and movies, to pull up filmography or just to see the ages of the actors. Today I noticed that the cast no longer appears during playback, and is only showing “related shows”, “more from (production company)”, and “more with (main actor)”. I don’t think I’m ever going to use any of these shortcuts, and really just want the cast listing back.
While still on the topic, I’m really not digging the way Plex is handling the per-episode cast display, which apparently no longer shows ANY of the main cast, instead only displaying the guest or extra cast for that single episode. Please display the main cast in addition to the rest of them, I shouldn’t have to navigate up to the main show page just to see the stars.
Edit: just noticed that the cast is no longer even displaying on the season/episode screen in Plex, only on the main show screen.
