I am trying to stream from Plex on my Android phone to Sonos.
I select “Connect to device” then select my Sonos speaker. The icon turns solid orange so it seems all good at this point.
Then I hit the play button. After about 2 secs I get message “Disconnect. Continue playback on this device?”
Selecting “No” then gives Error message: “An error occured while attempting to play this video. Please try restarting both the Plex Media Server and this app”. This seems odd since I am trying to stream an audio file and not a video.
I checked with SONOS and they referred me to PLEX. Please assist
Hi, sorry for the delay and to hear you’re having problems with the app. If the issue is still present, would you mind grabbing logs from the Android app? You can do it from Settings / Help & Support / Debugging / Share application data.
We’ve introduced some fixes in either client and services side so I think it depends on the issue you’re experiencing . Let me know if by any chance you find any other streaming issue.
