Cast your vote for plugins

When I look at photos the years are just plan folders can I get Lightroom or bridge plug in.

I voted for TV Tuners.

I also voted for MythTV as the secondary option because every other option is region biased (read: not available everywhere)

So if / when you do implement Live TV, please go with an option that will incorporate as many people as possible.

I can't vote for anything because almost none of the streaming TV/movies are available in Canada. I read that Netflix blocks API access outside the US, so that knocks off the only one listed.

I'd consider getting Crave or Showme (the Canadian streaming services) if Plex supported them, so is it possible to vote for them?

C'mon, there must be a lot of Canadian Plex users out there. For the other features, for us it's the only game in town!

Can you please add "Tvheadend" to the TV Tuner poll, it is the more widely used TV Tuner frontend used in my opinion/experience  ..

Thanks

Please add "Tidal" to this poll.

Thanks...

SlingTV

these features are not really important,

what we need is Ebook readers

Amazon Instant Video, so I can get some Chromecast support for it. It’s the only thing I am keeping my PS3 around for.

-Update Oct 5th, 2013-
The NHL channel (for GameCenter subscribers) is currently awaiting approval for the Channel Directory. In the meantime, it’s available via the Unsupported Appstore. Since it’s ready and (essentially) released into the wild, I’m removing it from the voting options.

Is this available yet?

I would like to see support for videos in cloud area (not cloud sync). The idea being to save space on your personal hardware and let google transcode (or mega or mediafire) and stream that directly through plex. With HTML5 and flash, the sizes are fairly small and don’t cause major bandwidth issues. Why can’t TV and Movies scroll a directory in the cloud and allow you to stream them directly? I know that Plex can stream, but that takes resources that are already available in many forms already on the net. So why not use what is already out there and integrate those into an already great platform. I would think that it would relieve the need for Plex to continuously transcode everything for every device when it’s already on the web and available to go at an instant.

I would love to see support for audiobooks (even as a album in music would be nice)

I would like to see a Plex app for the Fetch TV set top boxes in Australia (and Asia).

  1. Hulu - free version. You could still go to the website and watch some content without a Huluplus (or whatever they are calling it now) paid account. I know there is a channel (plugin) out there but there are only a few shows listed, any chance of a full Hulu free lineup?

  2. Snag Films - Love this channel on my Roku but there are just…so…many…commercials, it drives me mad. I know you could rent a program for .99 cents and it will be ad free but…

  3. Couch Tuner - I’ve asked about this before and received no reply so I thought I would try again. This website has so much content, it would be the ultimate plugin. It indexes every show you could ever want to watch, I don’t trust the players that you have to choose from to play the shows so I stay away. We got rid of cable tv a few years ago and use A Roku (three of them) for all of our media. It works well for our lives and we save over $100.00 a month. Is it possible?

P.S. - Love the Crackle plugin, I use it often. I also have the Crackle channel on my Roku direct but through the Plex “network” there are no commercials, great job whoever put that plugin together, thank you!

This would be an awesome addition to plex…who reads hard books anymore? Please add the formats for this option.
