I’m loving that when flinging to Plexamp on Pi (beta 2.0) from multiple devices, each device updates the currently playing/playlist/queue with any change from any controlling device.
This is HUGE!
This is my most common and most desired use case scenario (plex in workplace)
What would be super cool (for and 11 out of 10) would be if any user could add to (or edit, shuffle etc.) an existing queue rather than taking the queue over.
Anwsering my own post here…
Ok Mix builder is …sort of like this… and the new “related” enables you to add a track
But if i search an artist currently in plexamp 3.20 it displays the radio icon. This appears like it will start at a radio for that artist…I wouldn’t want that and it doesn’t do that [bug?]
I can only add the artist to a mix as a whole. If that artist has many albums it takes over the mix. I should to be able to add an album to a mix
So you have the perfect mix except that one album/artist…how do you remove it
I left the big city job for a life in the country as an artist… so its just me and my wife in the studio. We sign in to the same account.
Thats much clearer. the radio icon was something I was used to clicking to start a radio station based on the artist
If i click on a track? in the mix i can swipe to delete the track only?
If i go back to mix builder i can click on an artist to remove, but i have to restart the mix minus that artist? Am I understanding this as intended?
Cheers
Yes. That works well.
However some things are still (with due respect) really annoying. I can’t select a bunch of albums or tracks and shuffle without creating a playlist (that ill never want again probably) this is like an online store making you to create an account (IMHO). It made me search for other apps that could access the plex server (sorry)
Maybe I just got used to doing it from years of google music (rip) I’ve tied adding and starting and album iN every way I can think of and shuffle it, but as soon as other albums are added the queue unshuffles. Also I cannot determine when I’m able to shuffle and when not. The shuffle option seems to randomly not be there, or not
…surely there is a greater use case for shuffling more than a single album than shuffling just one album. Am I alone in saying I would always choose not to shuffle a single album.
