Can we do this yet? I’ve been waiting forever for this feature and was hoping it would be available in the new Plexamp. It seems like you can shuffle almost anything except for the current queue. Am I missing it somewhere?

Nope, it looks like you can’t shuffle or edit it (apart from deleting tracks).
So disappointing. Obviously a lot of work went into this app, but how could you leave out something as basic as shuffle and repeat?

Is there anyway to shuffle everything other than creating a playlist with everything and shuffling that?

Are you referring to re-ordering tracks in the queue or shuffling your entire music library? Re-ordering the queue has not been implemented yet. If it’s shuffling your entire library, you can try out Library Radio, which will perform a smart shuffle of your library.

Thank you. I was referring to shuffling my entire library. I will try out the library radio and see what happens.
Create a smart playlist named “all music” as a workaround.
Just hit the ‘create playlist’ icon in Plex web, without selecting anything beforehand.
On the topic of shuffling … I would also like to see perhaps something like this:
Start to play a song / album in shuffle mode. Add another song / album to the cue … have that be shuffled in the cue in the background (Sonos does this quite nicely when adding new songs / albums to a currently playing mix) … That way I would start to hear the just added (or anything I add after the initial shuffle) in my mix.
This, to my knowledge is not currently the way it works. It puts the newly added song / album at the bottom of the cue and you have to wait till the initial songs / albums are played to begin hearing what you added.
This type of functionality would add endless possibilities as well as endless listening to a playlist.
Music is based on moods, styles etc, which I believe PLEX has accomplished quite nicely … but if Im listening to Led Zeppelin II on shuffle, I might want to add a little Led Zeppelin I in the mix as well.

yeah too bad - this would be a workaround for this problem too: Plexamp 3.0 no Tidal shuffle
(basicly what I do to shuffle in the normal Plex app)
+1 for shuffle playlist feature.
I have a few playlists like ‘Favourite Songs’ etc. It would be great to be able to shuffle those songs like you can in the web player.
Playlists already have a shuffle button in plexamp.
So they do!
Why I couldn’t find that before I don’t know. Thanks you’v made my day
