First… apologies if you find another post from me about this. I recall writing one but couldn’t find the original post no matter what keywords I searched with.
I’m in the same place as most of the people who connect to my server and we needed a musical backdrop while hanging out so I created a Sonic Adventure that I cast to the Plex player on my Xbox Series X. Curiously I opened the dashboard to see and if anyone else was connected and saw that there was only 1 stream. I naturally thought it was my music when I saw the 1 in the title bar, but it turns out it’s someone who didn’t come over watching a movie and the music isn’t showing up in the dashboard.

In the previous post that I can’t find anymore, I had mentioned that if I stop casting, the music reverts to where it was when I started the cast. While casting, not only does it not show in the dashboard, the songs don’t appear in my playback history too.

The casting is also anonymous from the dashboard if I cast an album so it’s not just restricted to Sonic Adventures.
At this point I don’t know if it’s an issue with the Xbox player or Plexamp’s casting.
