I’ve been getting weird behavior from my Xbox from time to time. Something that is repeating these days is that when I want to cast something from my PC to the Xbox, it shows twice in the menu
Xbox Series X shows twice but I only have 1. The one currently playing item is from the TV is another room
This in itself is not a problem, it’s just weird. An actual problem I have however which comes and goes is that when I am casting Plex for Xbox can either suddenly crash silently thus losing my place in the playlist I made, or it will randomly show the autoplay screen in the middle of an episode or movie and get stuck there. When the latter happens, nothing I do can get me back to my video and I end up having to force it to close and start again. Something else that happens (it has just happened which prompted me to post here) is that if I am casting and I decided to change, remove, or otherwise show subtitles it may get stuck on the subtitle screen.
Does anyone know why this happens? This is frequent but not 100% of the time so it catches me off guard when it happens. I’ve just enabled logging to the server so that when/if it happens again I will be able to attach logs for assistance in diagnosing the problem.
