Brand new to Plex…
I’m unable to get the casting functionality from a tablet/smart phone to Plex on the Xbox One to work consistently. At best, it will connect and begin playing a movie, but will only work the first time. All subsequent attempts to switch media will result in the tablet/smart phone showing an error such as “Unable to connect to Xbox OS”.
Am I missing something? Thanks for any help!!
Hi there. There is currently a known issue with Plex Companion that is affecting the Xbox One client, we are looking into it but it will probably require a server update.

What is the best way to follow this issue so I can track updates? Also, will the server update automatically based on an update that you guys push or will we need to trigger the update? Thanks for your quick response!
You can keep an eye out in the Announcements subforum for new releases and patch notes. Automatic updates are available on some platforms, but to be sure keep an eye out on the subforum!
