@sa2000 introduced the re-definement of different EPG and channel markups to me in another thread.
I did what I was told but either I did something terribly wrong or some of these line-ups are not okay.
A) I did an update with my Fritz!box 6491 Cable of my channel lineup. I tested it by downloading a VLC playlist. The VLC player can tune into any channel just perfectly.
B) I updated to most current PMS (1.17.0 …) on Windows.
C) I deleted the working DVR.
D) I set up a new DVR with the following configuration:
“Kabel Deutschland Brandenburg Digital”
E) A lot of channels were found and almost all matched perfectly.
F) After matching, a full EPG was fetched and it looked very good with a few exceptions.
But NOW, I cannot tune into a lot of these channels any more and most recordings fail because of this - while the VLC player still has absolutely no problems with all of the channels.
Can somebody try and help me analyze what goes wrong here?
I still can tune to “Das Erste”, for example. But (in a long list of failed channels), ZDF, for example PMS cannot live play the TV channel.
