certain movie plays on iphone but not apple tv

Hi all. I have a certain video that I'm able to stream to Plex on my iPhone, but attempting playback on my ATV3 results in "an error occurred loading this content." The file is an mp4, 1216x720 H.264 using AAC. Everything else I throw at my ATV3 plays back just fine. Can someone suggest how I might fix this?

How does iTunes/Home sharing handle that file?

Ok, I think the problem is with the file. It plays locally in PMS and VLC. But not in iTunes, either locally or on the ATV using home sharing.
