Can't play specific video/movie on Apple TV 4th Gen but no problem in GDrive or Plex (Win)

Hello Guys,

so I have this movie/video here which is about 2GB big. It’s nothing special really. 1080x1920, x264 etc. But somehow every time I try to watch it on my Apple TV via either Infuse/Plex or directly on the Plex App it doesn’t work.

Infuse/Plex: The video starts but at exactly 0:13s in it starts buffering and won’t continue
Plex App: The video won’t start at all - black screen buffering

But I’m able to watch the video directly on GDrive or on my Laptop via the Plex app and also locally with the .vlc player. So I’m kinda clueless what the problem with the file is, might be?

Maybe someone of you can download it and maybe ‘see’ what might be the problem that it won’t play on my ATV via Plex and Infuse/Plex? I find it strange that it works with the .vlc player, Plex app on the laptop and in GDrive but not on the plex app on the ATV or Infuse/Plex.

I’d appreciate any info/help!

Oh so you’re saying that the guy that encoded the movie used a wrong or “not as good” encoder-software to encode the movie? Which ended in some errors in the movie/encode?

I’ll try encoding the movie with your provided settings with handbrake and test it out right away.
