Is there anyway to customize the photo playback speed when sending a photo slideshow to the chromecast? It's defaulted to about 5 seconds and I'd like to slow it down a bit.

I came upon this topic by google. I wanted to change the properties of the Plex photo slideshow, but there seems to be almost nothing to change, not even the slide speed. This is too basic for me. As I can see in this topic nothing is done to remediate this, I will uninstall Plex. Maby I’ll try it …

Even a basic xml file that would allow us to change this value ourselves would be very much welcomed. It should be a very simple feature to implement by Plex team. It’s too bad that PMS is not an open source so people with development background could contribute.

+1 !!! Come on plex, this is a simple feature, why not respond to community and implement this. This is a long overdue feature for plex player.

I’m adding my voice to this as well - really need to have a customizable time setting. The Default is way to fast for me.

5 years later, and they are collecting good money from subscribers… what the heck? This is a simple upgrade. Also no way to show exif data on slideshows? I like the product, but we should all bolt if something better comes along…
