Is it feasible to implement a way to change the mpv.conf file for the IOS Plex app?
For example by dropping the file inside the device Files tab when connected to a computer (iTunes for windows users).
mpv is not used on iOS.
Out of curiosity when did they switch away from MPV?

what makes you think that it was ever used?
I was pretty sure both @DaveBinM and @BigWheel said that the New video Player on both iOS and tvOS used MPV (or at least a modified version)

Indeed you are right and I was wrong.
mpv appears to be used indeed as the new, new player.

I suppose anything is possible but afaik it has never been on the roadmap. There would be some things that mpv.conf would not affect, such as subtitle styling which is handled by OS not MPV afaik. I’m not sure if a file drop or exposing appropriate settings in UI would be more feasible.
